WHO ARE WE
We started Awave Apparel right in the middle of the pandemic. At a time when the world felt heavy with bad news, we wanted to do something good — something positive. We’ve been friends since we were kids - grew up just around the corner from each other here in Dublin.
We basically live in athleisure, but couldn’t find a brand that matched our values. Some were moving towards sustainability, but we wanted to go all in — to spark a real wave of change in the industry.
So we set out to create something different — a brand that didn’t just look good, but did good. From day one, Awave has been built with sustainability at its core.
Doing good has always been our starting point — but we also care deeply about doing things well. We've taken our time with every detail — from fabric to fit — to create pieces that feel considered, timeless, and built to last.
WHY WE DO IT
Every minute that passes, a million plastic bottles are sold. Most end up in landfills, incinerators and worst of all, in our oceans. Each AWAVE garment takes plastic out of circulation and puts profits back into cleaning our oceans.
It won't fix the problem overnight, but it will show the way, and be part of a change we all want to see.

Our Manufacturers
We're not just a clothing company — we're a people company. We care about who wears our products. And we care about the people who make them, too.
We believe in a world where everyone can find great style and feel good about what they're wearing, and we know you do too. That's why we work hard to ensure that our products are made by people who are treated well and paid fairly. Our manufacturers are based in Portugal, China and Indonesia who help us source and craft our range with sustainable materials.
OUR IMPACT
We’re going beyond sustainability. We want to be regenerative and we want to keep score. That’s why we’re ultra transparent with the impact each piece of clothing makes on our environment. And just to be clear, we mean positive impact. We’ve built responsible supply chains, sourced ethically made fabrics using sustainable and regenerative raw materials and we back it up with transparent, meaningful data. We partnered with BCome who provide us with an analysis on our products. Our early drops were made using plastic. Each piece of our Remove Range has a small icon made of dots - that’s the number of plastic bottles that were taken out to make it.

We're so excited and proud to partner with Ocean Co, an incredible organization that is on the front lines of protecting our oceans from plastic pollution.
The ocean is a beautiful, vast place. It's home to an abundance of life and experiences, and it connects us all.
But the ocean is also in trouble. Over 8 million tons of plastic enters our oceans every year—and that number is growing at an alarming rate. It's not just a problem for the future, it's a problem now.
